Responsibilities

• Accurately calculate quantities for structural, architectural, electrical, and plumbing work in accordance with construction plans and prepare construction progress reports for phased payment contracts.
• Prepare cost estimates for renovation and interior decoration projects.
• Review detailed designs and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to ensure costs remain within the assigned budget.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers, sourcing, comparing quality, and negotiating prices for all construction materials and equipment.
• Draft procurement contracts with contractors, designers, and various partners.
• Recommend alternative materials, furniture, equipment, or design methods that can reduce costs or increase property value.
• Prepare and review adjustments for additional or reduced work quantities.
• Verify site documents against the project plan to prepare payment disbursements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in cost estimation and project budgeting.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Basic proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD.
